The short version
Health Newspapers has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no forms that collect personal information. We don’t sell data, because we don’t collect the kind of data that gets sold.
What we don’t collect
We do not require or request your name, email address, or any other personal information to read the site, play a game, or take a quiz. Game and quiz progress — streaks, completed puzzles, in-progress answers — is stored only in your browser’s local storage, on your device. It is never transmitted to us and we never see it.
What we do collect
Our hosting provider logs standard web server data for every request — IP address, browser type, the page requested, and timestamp — the same information any web server logs by default, used only for operating and securing the site. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
Advertising
Where a paid placement appears on the site, it is clearly labeled and links directly to the advertiser. Clicking it takes you to the advertiser’s own website, which has its own privacy practices we don’t control. We do not share any data with advertisers, because we don’t collect any to share.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser’s local storage — not cookies — to remember game streaks, quiz progress, and whether you’ve dismissed a dismissible ad placement. This data stays on your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Children’s privacy
This site does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information from any visitor.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect changes, this page will change first, with a new effective date at the top.
